I'm pretty sure Reuben Noble-Lazurus (spelling may be off) was younger than 16 when he played for Barnsley a few seasons back...no idea what the lower limit is though.

Just over the age of 15 i believe - but surely this is also showing how crap the Scottish leagues are if they are having to stick 13yr olds in the first team squad !!

Not sure? That Wycombe lad, Jordan Ibe, is the last player I can think of that played, and a few games later, at 15

You can play prior to your sixteenth birthday but I believe they need some kind of dispensation.

The lad that scored for Wycombe at 15 (& got booked for his celebration...) had to get permission from his school to play I believe, possibly as the game was midweek.
