No real objection, but that sort of suggests that we've been nowhere since 1983, when in fact we've lived through one of the most amazing periods of any club's history. Has anything remotely as interesting happened to Southampton, Watford, West Brom or Stoke in the meantime?

Perhaps you are just reading to much into the song
Pretty sure everyone knows what we have been through, the irony that we are JCL to the PL will not be lost, its just a bit of fun.
Might as well make the most of opportunities before the harsh reality sets in.

"Brighton are back" !

Any chance of a rousing chorus of “ Brighton are back”

any other requests?

Is there going to be room in the pre-match schedule, what with there being an opera singer, specially extended fanzone and synchronised clacker clacking?

Joking aside, are we going to get that streamer thing going - would be great to have it for every game but appreciate it takes a lot of organising.

Im hoping the great Toilet Roll Massacre preparations against the palace dugout are in full swing.
Just to remind them if they ever get caught short again spreading crap, bog roll helps cleaning up.......blaming others doesnt.

I'm aware you are being tongue in cheek Bozza but PLEASE no Opera Singer or Clackers for the first game. The atmosphere WILL be incredible, let's have no artificial attempts to create one, they will only detract.

Southampton have, in that period, got to a cup final, gone bust, dropped to League One, then climbed back up, made Europe and another cup final. Not AS dramatic as our own story, but they've had a bit of a ride, too.
