I think you might be wrong with that statement. Perhaps you should check your details, ask around people who play in the County League.

It was sorted out on Monday afternoon. Dean Wilkins asked to play 10 men to make them work harder. Henderson, Sullivan, Rents, Butters, Carpenter, Robinson, Loft, Molango, Elphick all played. It was a fantastic experience for the BBH fc players. The game was played in a great spirit. Robinson scored a great volley and Rents scored a very good goal. Broadbridge Heath never really had a decent shot on target.
Don't think BBH did themselves any harm and put up a good performance against a team that strong, even with only 10 men.

The pitch was like a billiard table when I played on it, in fact it's the best pitch I've played on

Not as good as it was because the council wouldn't water it this summer. But come the middle of winter it will be one of the best playing surfaces again. Thank you for the comment and confirming my point.

I've only played there once- in about 97 or 98- but the pitch was fantastic. The best I've played on. And that was at the end of the season too.

The facilities were o.k too. Certainly not the worst in the county league(or at least they weren't when I was there).

As a playing experience I'm sure the players have had far worse.

No doubt that mile oak have HORRENDOUS facilities though. A terrible, terrible pitch and changing rooms the size of an umpa lumpa's toilet.

My youth team played on the pitch in April - and it was excellent. For County League Broadbridge Heath have excellent pitch and facilities - take a trip to Shooting Field - home of Steyning Town.
