Slade has spent according to Lennie Lawrence about £1.4 Million. If it was your money and you wanted to spend another £million or so on players then who would you trust to spend it, Slade or Coppell? Coppell for me and he is available.

I've got another question. Is this the most pointless question ever?

Coppell is available, so no. I take it you would give the next £Million to Slade, I beg to differ

I don't think there is any need to even consider replacing Russell Slade and I find it disrespectful to look at a replacement. Do you not realise that just about all succesful clubs don't go changing their managers every couple of seasons?

Successful clubs keep managers because they are successful. Yes Furgusson was given years, but also multi millions to get it right. Its not disrespectful, its a fair point to say that Slade has spent £1.4 Million on the team, and gos to Rovers who are Minus £400,000 on spending over summer and we are grateful for a point. Not good enough sorry. Spend money, expect results.

you make a good point about succesful clubs not replacing managers, that is provideing of corse that they have the right man in place to start with, which im seriously starting to doubt we have in Slade.

Jamie, Slade hasn't spent 1.4million. That's how much Lennie Lawrence reckons has been spent on this current squad. Some of that money would have been spent before he arrived, for example, Forster, Murray, Dixon, McNulty.

He has brought in 10/11 new players, most cost money, I think two or three at least were at least £300K, he is pushing at least £900,000 or 1 Million at least. The question is, Coppell or Slasde to spend the next £1Milllion?

Yeah, and it is September. What has the man got to do? As a previous manager we had used to say, you don't win anything in September.

You might as well ask if Mr Bloom should be replaced as chairman because we're not playing at Falmer yet!

Oh, must be nice to have access to the club accounts. Anything else you think we need to know ?

Only time will tell if I am, but he eas earned the right to be given a fair crack of the whip after pulling off a minor miracle last season. He's brought in a lot of new players and it will take time to adjust. We had a lot of crap, still got a bit left, that needed to be sorted and it may be next season before we start to settle. I can take that, as I think it will benefit us in the long run, as opposed to making knee-jerk decisions to replace a manager after a few not so good results. We're doing ok and we can and will do better (I hope!)

Get your head out your own arse ffs and wake up,we have seen how loyal he was before, when a so called "bigger" club came along,if ( and i doubt very much ) he did come back, and say a "bigger" club came sniffing again, where would he go? i doubt he would stay,so,that would leave us up shit creek (again),so stop talking utter shit.
