102.4 and 103.5 Southern FM: More Music Variety For Sussex


Southern FM Breakfast Presenter Nicky Keig-Shevlin this morning announced her decision to hang up her headphones after an extensive career that has spanned over two decades at the number one commercial radio station in Sussex*.

Currently co-presenter of the Southern FM Breakfast Show "Danny and Nicky in the Morning" with Danny Pike and Jack the Lad, Nicky announced her decision this morning to listeners (Monday, June 9, 2008). The announcement came after 19 years broadcasting to Sussex every weekday from 6-10am to 219,000 adults each week**.

I can't believe you listen to Original FM Scotty.
That's where you'll find TB at the moment, and I'd rather have TB than have to listen to his out dated 'zoo-radio' format.

"perhaps they could call the new programme the Jack & Danny Show"

the man is superb

hearing him arguing with old women on scr was one of the easiest ways to pass the hours between soaps at uni. one of the top broadcasters around

The Tommy Boyd show (on which NKS got her big break) which was on sunday evenings in the late 80's was terrific stuff. Half the battle/fun being 13 years old or so and trying to keep the radio quiet enough under the duvet so my parents wouldn't hear...

At least I won't have to listen to that whining voice every morning.

Only need to get rid of that utter tit JTL (aka complete knob-jockey), and my commute to work will be that much nicer.
