Every time I post a new message I am automatically subscribed to the thread. So uh, something wrong there.

Also a problem with avatars. It won't resize the image for you. So you need a small image. Which is irritating.

This should sort out thread subscription.. ish

Under your options:

Use 'Email Notification' by default?
Using this option emails you whenever someone replies to a thread that you have participated in.

Select no.

I kept getting emails each time everyone posted!

Should be okay now.

Yes, i think Beardo has had his day, fresh board fresh start eh! Although if i cant get my Trigger avatar resized Beardo might return! lol

Just reviewing the vB resource forums. Appears bulit in avatar resizing does not happen. Also, every avatar you choose is being uploaded to NSC - think bandwidth-busting.

However, it looks as though there are hacks I can make to allow them to be hosted elsewhere and be resized - give me a while....

I've sorted the problem with thread subscription. The default value should now be "no" dont send me emails in threads I have posted.

Its' more complicated than you might think.
