Shameless plug for Non-League Football

On Tuesday 12th December Haywards Heath Town will host Brighton & Hove Albion U23's :bhasign: in the 3rd round of the Sussex Senior Cup

Kick Off is 7:45pm

We have Harvey's Brewery coming and lots of food being served.

Hanbury Stadium has covered standing area's as well as a large stand hosting 250 seats and room for another 200 or so that can keep you protected from the elements.

For Non-League clubs this gives us the opportunity to introduce new supporters of the professional game to the non-league alternative.

We have parking on site for up to around 70 cars but for safety reasons the car park will shut at 6:30pm or before if full.

Hanbury Stadium is about 10 minutes walk from Haywards Heath Station (with pubs on route ) Post Code is RH16 3PT (Allen Road)

Would be great if as many of the BHAFC community could join us for what we hope will be a good competitive match.

You couldn't run / cycle from the station to Hanbury in 10 mins - nearer half an hour's walk for most of us.

Pubs on route? The Burrell Arms outside the station - where next?

Here's Google maps to help.

Sorry it was a poor estimate although, I do always drive :shootself
20 mins at a sensible pace.
Yes there is the pub outside the station, but of course if you have time on your hands then there is always the bars like Savannah, Orange Square or the Star before cutting along Heath road or Church Road and down New England Road.
But plenty of options at the ground to quench the thirst.
Apologies

Go up Perrymount road B2028 and down church road then New England road and you pass 2 Albion bars and 3 pubs and loads of places to eat. More like Twenty minute walk.
One Match ball sponsored by Mid Sussex Seagulls
Should be a good turnout.

At least you get to see the sights of Bentswood if you walk!

Probably a good thing. Can't say I was looking forward to trudging down to the match tonight (weather wise). Hopefully milder weather for the rescheduled match.
