Leicester City and Watford are battling it out for Angers forward Karl Toko Ekambi.

The 24-year-old found the net seven times for the French club last season and he is considering his options during the current transfer window.

Bordeaux and Rennes have expressed an interest in the Cameroon international and he could be persuaded to stay in France.

Leicester City and Watford, however, are hoping Toko Ekambi fancies a stint in England as – according to L'Equipe – they are both trying to sign him.

The Premier League pair are said to have watched the forward in action last season and they believe he would suit English football.

Angers, however, would ideally like to keep hold of Toko Ekambi and will not consider a sale unless they can get in an adequate replacement.
