27 sections of pavé. 257.5km. 1 winner.

If you have never watched a cycling race, this is arguably the one to watch. It will have crashes, thrills, spills, and requires mind numbing endurance. It is not known as the 'Hell of the North' for nothing.

Wasn't this the race which was disrupted last year as half the race was held up by a train at level crossing.

That's right. It happens. Bizarre, but there are rules in place to ensure other riders can't attack whilst rivals are held up. The rules are usually observed.

About the same speed you and Pogue Mahone did it through there isn't it!?

Ah Bold, Pogue and I were crawling over that. It felt like I was ascending and descending each and every cobble. Fantastically brilliant torture.

Speak for yourself. I BELTED through the Arenberg Trench, and had to wait for you at the end.

And also for Mr. Mitchell, who fell off again, obviously.

When you say belted - 8mph isn't really belting.

Paddy Power have Sagan and Spartacus out front as the favourites

http://www.paddypower.com/bet/cycling/paris---roubaix

Surely it won't be a repeat of Flanders. Interestingly, Gearing Thomas is in there at 33/1. Could be worth £2 on G.

I was just looking it up on Oddschecker

http://www.oddschecker.com/cycling/one-day-classics/paris-roubaix/winner

At 20/1 there might have been some value in Terpstra but it'll be a brave man who bets with Etixx.

I don't know where Oss features in the BMC hierarchy, but if he's near the top after the Flanders crash, 80/1 looks a little large.
