Yes it's back!
Each NSCer has 1000 vCash to wager their way through the World Cup.
How it will work...
1. For each of the 64 fixtures that make up the World Cup, there will be a W/D/L market posted, taking odds on a par with the usual bookies.
2. You can bet as little or as much of your balance on each fixture.
3. The winners (number of places and prizes to be determined when I give it some proper thought) will be those with the most vCash at the end of the tournament.
4. Only those who have placed bets on 50 or more of the fixtures played will qualify for the prizes.
Some notes...
1. I will endeavour to settle each fixture as soon as possible after it ends, but there may be a delay on days that life gets in the way.
2. New markets for upcoming fixtures will only be posted 1 day at a time.
3. The new markets will only be posted when I have settled prior markets.
4. ...so it's up to you to get online to make your bets.
5. There seems to be an issue if I turn on the feature that displays your vCash on your profile (values get repeated on threads) so I will post a league table at the end of each day as soon as I am able. This will detail your balance and where you lie in relation to everyone else.
6. Don't think if someone goes out to a big early lead that it is 'game over'. Every time we run one of these competitions someone does that and then ends up nowhere long before the end of the competition.
7. Primarily it's just for fun, so take part and enjoy.
