Sorry, could you type that out again please Lordi, explaining each point in more detail?

Thanks in anti cipation

I've missed out the additional 25 conditions that are attached to the planning permission to use the former Falmer High School site for parking. There's only so much excitement that NSC can take in one bite.

Was there NO discussion about BATS?

Even though the Council's own expert made this representation:-

Bats. A previous, recent planning application relating to this site
has shown that the woodland edge may be important for a local Serotine bat
population. Bats are also likely to be resident in the former Falmer High
School building, proposed to be demolished under application
BH2012/00455. Bats are European Protected Species under the Habitats
Regulations 2010 and are therefore protected by Local Plan policy QD18. It
is illegal to kill, injure, or recklessly disturb bats, or to recklessly damage,
disturb or obstruct access to bat roosts. Licences can be obtained to
derogate from the legal protection otherwise afforded to them, but only if it
can be demonstrated that the certain tests can be met.

Have to say that no matter how much I love the Amex, there was something very special about the terraces at the Goldstone. RIP.

For those lucky enough to watched games at the Goldstone, especially any time up to 1983, with often massive swaying crowds, it was magical.

The expanded Amex will be a dream. I hope the club always stays loyal & reasonably priced for the non-corporate punter, to maintain the passion;
and not do an Arsenal & Chelski with mega-s/t prices.

Not the real one
They will have to keep some seats back (probably over 1,500) for match-by-match sales because of the need for extra away allocation for cup games.

Martin Perry said today that there are 2,000 people on the season ticket waiting list and most of those want at least two - which would make around 4,000 extra STs plus any more they sell to people not on the waiting list (less non-renewals of course).

Even so, I imagine there should be quite a few seats left over for matchday sales in addition to the 1,500 they can't sell to STHs.

There is already around 1500 match by match in the WSL and East that isn't there for away fans in case of cup games. They are always for sale. The club have said this will be the minimum match by match tickets available even after expansion. So add the extra needed for cup games and add to that the amount of seats left over after non renewals and the 3000+ on the waiting list. I estimate around 2-3000 available on match by match basis after stage one and even more after stage two, depending on the division. So it's good all round really, more fans get in, more match by match meaning more Albion supporters as its not a closed shop and about 22k STH's. It's all good whichever way you look at it.

It appears the most problematic part of those is the money that is going to be involved, and also necessity for long term transport solution rather than all of these temporary solutions.

Will the expansion be complete by the start of next season? Been on the waiting list since before the beginning of last season so hoping to get a season ticket for next season. I've received an email today about the season ticket waiting list today but it has very little information on it, what is the next step in applying for a season ticket?

Blimey! You asked for it.

Variation: Clause 10 Schedule 2 - Monitoring of Spectator Traffic
(Moulsecoomb)
Replace with new schedule requiring match/event day CPZ
• Replace with the requirement for the Company to fund the implementation
costs for a Match Day Residents Only Parking Scheme for Moulsecoomb
and Coldean (estimated to be £153,000 to be paid prior to the Proposed
Development first being brought into use).
• Council to pay back unused implementation costs if either of the Match
Day Resident Only Parking Schemes are not implemented within 3 years,
or if such Scheme is implemented and there are monies left over.
• Company to fund the ongoing annual maintenance and permit costs
(estimated to be £25,000 for maintenance, enforcement and labour and
£32,000 for permit administrative costs). Any revenue profit would be
deducted from the annual costs.
• Company to submit a Parking Management Strategy for Moulsecoomb
and Coldean (increased signage and stewarding) for the time period prior
to any Match Day Residents Only Parking Scheme being brought into use;
and if after 3 years, the Council decides not to bring in such a Scheme for
either area, for the time period after such decision.
• Monitoring of Spectator Traffic for both Coldean and Moulsecoomb to be
undertaken prior to any Match Day Resident Only Parking Scheme being
implemented; and if the Council decides not to bring in a Match Day
Resident Only Parking Scheme for either area, the Monitoring of Spectator
Traffic will continue and the original penalty charges based on percentage
increases in parking, will apply to either area, starting the next football
season after any such decision by the Council.

That's a fair bit of money the clubs going to have to stump up because people have been ignoring the parking advise.

Your bank details and mother's maiden name need to be emailed to me ASAP.

The bats can be moved at certain times of the year by licensed proffesionals, should any be present

There is only an increased RISK of vehicle/bat collision, as well you know Lord Bracknell

Nothing is guaranteed.

Attempting to justify his existance, they all do it most meetings could be completed in an hour, as they are when by private companies.By talking shit they can turn 1 hour into 5

Believe me there are an awful lot of long pointless meetings in the private sector as well.
