At least our manager isn’t someone who is tied to one style that is somewhat less than ideal to those conditions.
Strong winds and torrential rain inevitably make a game more chaotic and harder to control.
Ultimately he’s a better player than Igor.
FH has an easy ‘out’ for not putting him straight back in the side though with his recent injury.
My prediction is that it’ll be Igor tomorrow and then Dunk will be back in next week.
I can remember going to that Wolves away game with a group of us.
We had never been particularly punctual in getting to away games on time, so with the utter dross we had been serving up that year we were in no intention of leaving the pub early, especially as it was a bit of an Xmas piss—up...
His ball-striking technique is insane. Always seems to get dip and curve on the ball flight without it losing any of its momentum. If anything, it seems to gain momentum! It’s kind of like he shoots with that jabulani ball from the 2010 Workd Cup.
If it is genuine, I wonder if some of it stems from the club starting to have injury concerns about Dunk?
As he’s got older he appears to be picking up more niggles and knocks. He wouldn’t be the first player to reach 32/33 and then have stop-start seasons due to injury.
Yep just do this. Much more likely to catch on, people don’t have to try as hard to remember the words.
Now it just needs playing on the sound system in the stadium.
It helped get Veltman’s song more widespread when it was played post match after a win, likewise with Bissouma/Mitoma’s song...
I don’t think it’s a lack of imagination.
It’s more of a fear of someone starting a new song and people not joining in. Especially when the words aren’t easy to follow.
I’m a believer should be a given for Baleba, but there’s so many potential variations of the lyrics and it’s a tune that I...
The way the video is filmed is like a cross between when those ‘peado hunters’ track down one of their targets and a tragic ‘afters’ party with 4 pissed-up blokes, a crate of beers and a few bags of cocaine.
Very odd.
If you can’t recognise that this guy is a serious talent, then give up. Insanely strong accompanied with precise technical footwork. He has everything, perhaps bar the finish, but what a player to watch.
How do you get him and Pedro in the same XI?
Anyone else on the 17.43 out of Lime Street? Trying to work out if it’s best to just walk very quickly straight after the game or a cab/bus. Anyone shed any light on how those shuttle buses operate post-match?
Who has definitely made their mind up on him?
Again, there is a big difference between writing a player off and expressing initial concerns with them.
I think there’s still a good chance he’ll prove to be a valuable player for us, but I also think he’s had an underwhelming start.
Some on here seem unable to separate fair, justified assessments of Wieffer’s slow start with an apparent ‘pile on’ or abuse.
The vast majority of criticism aimed at him in this thread is being done so objectively and fairly based on his performances so far.
There is no problem with...
Agreed.
But how many of them cost £25 million, were in their mid-twenties, had Champions League and Europa League experience, two seasons of regular football in one of the top European leagues, and a number of appearances for a strong national team?
I think it’s fair to expect initial higher...
