One thing most seem to agree on is that it is not clear what was meant by double subsidy and you and Drew, who also thinks I got it wrong, could be right. What I do know is that free parking for ST coaches is seen as a major benefit. When you think of the income the club lose by not charging...
This is now the third thread either devoted to this subject or as in the Fans Forum thread one of the topics discussed, and seems to be the cause of mainly confusion.
First PB said the saving from taking the travel subsidy off Seagull Travel was a 6 figure sum, so probably some way off the...
My understanding of double subsidy from what Barber has mentioned is first the travel by coach, and then providing prime parking area for the coaches for free. By taking the travel subsidy away from ST coach travel they not only save a six figure sum (PB words) but are still offering a subsidy...
Think the matter has been subject to numerous emails over a number of months and was fully covered in the Seagulls Travel thread that has been running for some time, last post was around 30 July. In that thread there is a lengthy reply from Paul Barber, which probably explains why he was a...
Yes and the answer was the permit rules are involved and are even likely to be changing further very soon. It is complex and the club are looking at ways through, if or when the situation changes with the permits they will let the fans know, or words similar to this.
That is a good price, but not Seagull Travel prices. These work out at £10.84 per match before you add on extra depending where you are travelling from. So if we look at say Petworth or Bexhill as examples. Seagull Travel season ticket this season from these two areas is now £15.84 per match...
No idea, but based on an estimated number of coaches being 35 - 40 with 35 on each coach then we are looking at 140 -180 regular coach travelers no longer using that option. Small compared to ground attendance, but it goes against the promotion of the coach as being one of the transport options...
Use the service from the Hastings area and very reliable. All routes will get you there in good time and leaving will be from 10.15pm with the coach park cleared by 10.30pm. If you are aiming for the Palace match timings might be delayed a little if there are special arrangements in place, but...
The car park at Battle is quite large and while it does fill up there should still be parking spaces to be found at the times you want to go. The approach road and the Monday - Friday end parking section should have spaces and are all part of the car park. Have to also say that South Eastern...
So after Poo-gate we now have weapon-gate, wonder what the January fixture will bring to keep the urban myth proportions going?
Certainly adds spice to the stories about the rivalry.
There is a help chat button on the new Seagull Player and email address for the new owners is ifollow@efl.com. I have used both for questions I had about passwords and subscriptions. Both methods were very helpful, the chat help was instant, and the email question was reasonable in time of...
The game must be up there as one of the best Albion performances of all times in my book. WBA were a good side, yet there was only one team in the match for most of the game and a 0-4 scoreline that night would not have been out of place. Remember us filling up a couple of Seagull Special...
Our record against the top 6 clubs so far is 1 win (Hull at home) the rest draws. Not sure if this is a reassurance or not, but if we can make that two wins by beating Derby, then the draw at Boro fits in with our record this season. The only other thing I would add, this stage of the season...
