I'm in. Very happy result this morning. Feeling good too. 8lbs gone and another 9 days left remaining, to at a minimum consolidate the loss and at best...
Thankyou for the heads up on that.
I have just looked online and Waterstones have 5 in stock. It looks exactly the sort of thing I want. I'm not back in the UK until 16th December but I shall ask my partner to order one for me or pick it up on one of her frequent trips into Brighton.

I,ll give it a 10/10...!
It was a bit of a faff as you said, but well worth it.
My only disappointment was I thought the recipe was for one...
Had one a week ago on Sunday morning at Worthing. I would have like sedation but I knew I had to drive back home within 24 hours.
They do give a throat spray, which just about does the job and it's over fairly quickly.
Have to say, that each and everyone of the staff there were brilliant...
An interesting podcast so far. I'm only halfway through ( it's 48 minutes long), and I no longer run a business.
However, he has already mentioned several things that resonate with the way I see trying to achieve weight-loss. Having been on a weight-loss programme 10-11 years ago ( kindly paid...
Ha ha.....I did see your post re losing 8lbs before. I'm putting my faith in you, that you will get there again...and sustain it, before the end of the month.
I think it is definitely an issue with water retention.
Something that happens as well the older you get...ha ha.
It's a good reason for why many say to only weigh once a week as the fluctuations daily can be disappointing at times to morale.
I can't help but get on the scales first thing...
Any change of eating habits is going to have difficult times to negotiate. It's the nature of the beast. I think it's really important to roll with them and try get back on track as soon as is feasible. You are not alone...!
This mid-month challenge time is going to be hard . We're two weeks...
I accept full responsibility for declaring Thursday as the 15th :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:. In my defence, the Albion were partly to blame, due to severe lack of sleep between being at the Amex on Saturday and arriving home here on Monday afternoon. Once home I opened a bottle of wine and commenced...

I just weighed myself this morning ( always, same day of the week, Thursday, at the same time 9.00am here. ) Last week I had to get up early and weigh myself at 8.00am as I was back in the UK .
I going to be very honest and say I'm not yet at the stage of differentiating between all the various carbs, fibres etc etc. I will be doing so soon though.
I'm basically just trying to re-align my over-eating habits first and making some very obviously needed, but simple changes. I am quite a...

Got back home yesterday afternoon after 5 days in the UK. Back in my comfort zone now, so should be a little easier.
Nearest takeaway shops 15 miles away helps avoid temptation.
It was hard not to over eat/celebrate the win of the Albion on Sunday though. A magical day and was so lucky to be...

Re-runs of the City game. Hospital appt. Minutes silence. Re-run of the City game...re-run of the City game, re-run of the City Game. Pack the car ready for the Midnight ferry from Newhaven. Monday afternoon;...arrive home and......re-run of the City game...There is...
It's the eating habits that need to change for most of us.
Having read most of this thread, the habit of evening snacks is one of the biggest devils to overcome. Add alcohol to that and it isn't just the extra calories, but the will power, to avoid the evening snacks decreases enormously for me.
