Fingers crossed either Pyecombe or EDF ( Friday night game might be able to use it) p&r will operate as either in the mercy of Southern or the parking shambles. Really puts a dampener on the experience
Dynamic pricing !😂
I do think they look at likely demand and ease of fans to take the train etc and bump the pricing up some what for certain matches . But you have a choice. They can be defensive too if you query their service
It’s a great conundrum to have now isn’t it? Three class centre backs to choose from or rotate perhaps? Igor has clearly benefited from the run of games and now oozes confidence . Good times!
There should be a full on review with all stakeholders so good to see the issue being raised by MPs with the club. Weekends tend to be better for obvious reason of more staggered travel times and more/longer trains. But queue management at Falmer and Brighton needs looking at as an accident...
Thanks for this thread…I needed it. Lost couple of stone over summer but hurt back and had to stop exercising and back to snacking . I’ve put back on around a stone which I’m really annoyed about and need some motivation to try and lose it again . Target of 7 lbs this month is a great help...
Very much this….needs to be an additional “permanent “ P&R option . Makes sense for it to be EDF at weekends/ holidays and Pyecombe in the week. The club can shrug off the trains being their responsibility but they could help fans more with travel rather than ignoring it.
Shame - they need to have a regular additional P&R option. EDF for weekends ( can’t use during week) and Pyecombe for weekdays would make sense but assume it’s all about the cost
For me it’s a case of constantly checking as well as EDF ( we know doesn’t operate currently for week day matches ).
Agree that another “permanent “ park and ride option is needed and perhaps it should be EDF at weekends and Pyecombe for week days. Then could be communicated to all how it will...
Sadly been my experience too. If you’re lucky and the driver knows where to collect from and communicates ( correctly) all good. If not , like yesterday for us you wander around coach park as no signs from the road entrance where to go.
As in previous post on two occasions when passengers ( both...
Yes, this was the issue for some. We were dropped off in original spot at Uni of Brighton and driver said to return from there. Turns out they were parked in coach park
Playing spot the Pyecombe park and ride a laugh after the game too. Works well when you find the coach.
Also, some customer service training for the lady managing the queue who told an elderly passenger who had walked over the place to find it and wasn’t impressed to “ don’t bother coming if...
