I think people remember only his good points from before his injury. He seems very similar to me: great ability but doesn't work hard for the team and is very inconsistent. He just happened to have a good spell before he got injured and that seems to have given people a very rosey memory of him...
The crowd was as cocky and thought the game was over as much as the players. Fans also have their part to play. Maybe this is a lesson to us as well: it's not over until it's over - don't get cocky.
Yes 99/100 there is a shot. But even if there is a shot sometimes the keeper saves and starts a break. The younger players need to mature and realize the situation and play to it. Hurzeler has hinted at it already so I do think this will be a good thing long term for us.
It's not all on him. Four players bombing into the box like they did is terrible. They are all offering the same option when there was the opportunity to provide numerous different options that don't involve passing near the defender.
It is something a more mature head like Gross or Milner or...
Hopefully it will be a really good learning experience for the whole team. A lot of them are young and you could see they got carried away. It will hopefully be a good thing in the long run.
Yes. Wieffer made one mistake of about ten in that last goal. Even just looking at the 4v1 why are three players making the same run? Two need to drop back and provide a pass and protection if the ball goes loose. Instead they all went crazy trying to score the third with no thought about the...
My point is: they treated wellbeck, which just so happens to be their last act of the day at work, which just so happens to coincide with the end of the soccer game and then they happen to go to the same bar as all the soccer fans and the spout confidential medical information....come on man...
Yeah he is telling lies there. Why would they share confidential information - why risk their job? Medical professionals are normally very good with stuff like that. Also a paramedic goes to the pub right after a long shift? Unlikely
The way you are arguing it every goal is due to a high like as we have one. It's like saying all the goals we conceed are due to having a goalkeeper.
Just because a high line is present doesn't mean the goal was a result of it. If you watch it we deal with the initial break fairly well and when...
