[Albion] So this happened to me today

It's well known that plumbers, electricians, and carpenters are self important dickheads, whereas bricklayers are modest unassuming "salt of the earth" types.😁

    [Misc] Prostate Cancer

They are, but only if you're GP/ health centre is willing to give you the test. As has been attested on here, many GP's are very reluctant to do the test if you don't have symptoms. A free nationwide screening programme should be introduced for all men over 50 ( over 45 if there's a history of...

    [Misc] Prostate Cancer

My GP surgery was the same (ie you don't need a test if you're not showing symptoms) Luckily,I had a blood test for an unrelated ailment, and they detected a high PSA count from that. Please, if you are a man over the age of 50 get tested, don't take no for an answer

[Football] How much did you pay for your first game?

One shilling (5p) for entry to the East Terrace in 1962. My total pocket money then was two shillings and sixpence (12.5p), so after paying bus and train fares to get to the Goldstone I was left with about 8d( 3p).

    [Sussex] Hailsham Town FC 🔥

Such a shame when clubs like Hailsham, who do great work in the community, suffer something like this. Hopefully it won't affect them financially as their resources, like a lot of non league clubs, are stretched to the limit.

[Brighton] Help identifying type of manhole cover

    [Albion] The crowd tonight

I sit in the South end of WSU , and, usually, the away fans drown out the home support. Last night was totally different, the noise from all round the stadium was brilliant, especially in the second half. The crowd was definitely the 12th man.

[Albion] Man City arriving on the back of three straight defeats

f*** me, so much negativity on this thread. I just hope that the Amex crowd don't share your nerves, and that they get behind the team from the off. City aren't invincible, as has been shown over the last couple of weeks, and if the Albion are up for the fight there's no reason why they can't...

[Albion] If you could improve ONE thing about BHAFC, what would it be?

I used to do something similar on the long coach trips to away matches, but my alcohol of choice was Southern Comfort .
