So who is this someone else he referred to as “I”?

    [Albion] West Ham away tickets

Re-reading it, I think you’re right. Too early for comprehension for me! I wasn’t even sure today was Thursday. 🤣

    [Albion] West Ham away tickets

That’s not how it works. If it sells out before going to all season ticket holders (i.e. today), any that become available later can only be bought by those who were able to purchase at the time they sold out. The later windows never open. Unless they’ve changed that this season.

    [News] Timothy West - RIP

Really sad news. A great actor and appeared to be a wonderful human, husband and dad.

    [Albion] The crowd tonight

That’s the one thing I find odd with the acoustics. From East Lower, I don’t think I’ve ever picked up on singing specifically from West Upper. Do you sing only when joining in with the North or is it just that it sounds like it’s coming from somewhere else?

    [Albion] The crowd tonight

There have been a few times when the away supporters have sung things like “is this a library” and “shall we sing a song for you” when I’ve wondered about their hearing or the stadium acoustics. I’m south of half way in the lower East and think often it’s down to the weather, as sometimes the...

    [Albion] Your football ancestry

Born in Buckingham Road maternity hospital. My dad was a big fan and it apparently cost him his first marriage (came back from an away game to an empty house apart from his dog). My mum told me he was secretary of the supporters club when she met him at the end of the 50s. Dad took me to my...

[Sussex] Lesser-known seaside town locals say is 'cheaper Brighton' is UK's craft beer capital

I take it you haven’t visited for a good few years, then. When I first came to Worthing for work, I thought I’d arrived in a town that time had forgotten, about 30 years behind the times. Now, I live here and love it. Things have changed a huge amount in those 10 years.

[Music] Knowledge you've acquired through songs or band names.

I’d not heard of Lowry before the Brian and Michael song. Also learnt that the average age of a combat soldier in Vietnam was 19. I was 23 when it was released.

There's not many options for having a pint "near the ground". Hope you enjoy your visit. Where in the ground will you be?

    [Food] Lose 7lbs in November

I will give this a go. I've flat-lined on my weight for a few months now apart from a short blip when I had Covid and lost 7lb in a week. It soon went back on, though, once I got active again. I need to get back into the habit of eating better and running regularly that served me well during...

[Albion] December and January TV picks

Well that’s screwed up my plans for away matches. And Palace on a Monday evening is just plain stupid.

    [Albion] Atmosphere (Spurs H)

I can’t remember a game where the East stand was so loud and involved for a long time. Excellent in the second half.

[Albion] EFL / Carabao Cup Fourth Round draw [Liverpool at home]

How so? You had to have bought it before the draw was made unless you have purchase history.

[Albion] EFL / Carabao Cup Fourth Round draw [Liverpool at home]

Surely they’re expecting a bigger crowd than the previous rounds and travel is included this time.

    [Albion] MOT question

Thanks for the reminder. I had to move my MOT test because I had Covid and couldn’t take it to Setyres. Not certain when it runs out but put the car on the drive, just in case.

[Politics] The 2024 US Election - *MATCH DAY*

The proof of the pudding is in the eating. Yours is another Americanism: So, over the years, the original proverb has evolved. The original was the proof of the pudding is in the eating. It was shortened to the proof of the pudding, and then here in America, it morphed again to the proof is in...

[Football] "The Club That George Built" - Worthing FC documentary on TNT Sports, October 1st

Set it to record in case I forget. A truly inspirational individual. It’s hard to comprehend what he’s done for the club in a short space of time.
