[Technology] Has anybody come off of Twitter / X? How easy did you find it?

I'm on Bluesky and will start unfollowing every account on twitter that has a presence on the former. Once I've reached a critical mass, I'll delete my twitter account.

    [Politics] Russia invades Ukraine (24/02/2022)

The latest 'Lines on Maps' view: TLDR - Putin pushing as hard as he can to get himself as much land before he has to negotiate. (Not rocket science, exactly).

[Technology] Has anybody come off of Twitter / X? How easy did you find it?

I've had Facebook for years and used to post regularly, but haven't done so in a few years now and rarely look at it. I use Twitter/X for footy stuff, bands and interesting people, but I always stick to the Following tab and never, ever post and block every bot that follows me. For a while I did...

    [Politics] The Labour Government

I went mid 90's - I got half loan/half grant and paid if off within a few years of working. Back then, and I guess also when you went, far fewer students attended uni. It's a very different landscape now.

    [Politics] The Labour Government

In an ideal world, universities would be funded direct from the Government, no tuition fees and maintenance grants (not loans) to students. Sadly, this is not how it's currently setup. So, as far as I can see, the Tories froze the tuition fee cap for 8 years, all the while prices and costs went...

It does. The Dem's lost key #3: Incumbent seeking re-election. Next question?

Yes, I heard that interview this morning as well. At first I though he was going to go down the chuntering road, but it was a pleasant surpise when he veered off that particular bit of chumpery.
