Got the original Oculus when it came out (2020 maybe?) and the novelty of it wore thin pretty quickly. Bought my son the Meta Quest 3 last Christmas and the two headsets are night and day. The MQ3 is brilliant - still in daily use nearly 12 months later, mainly for gaming and workout apps.
However it happened, awful news. He lived in the same village as me for a period, and I bumped into him in Sainsbury’s a few times, once when I was with my daughter who was 12 then. He was kind, charming and seemed very humble. RIP
Hope I’m wrong, but not optimistic about this one. Can see us repeating our performance in the final third against Ipswich, and being hit on the break. The things they do well I’m not sure we can deal with.
Kind of get where you’re coming from. Morrissey solo playing The Smiths, sounds like The Smiths. Johnny Marr playing The Smiths, doesn’t. And I say that as someone who does rate Johnny Marr.
I’m a bit weird with eggs. Won’t eat anything that looks like an egg - fried, poached, boiled. Also won’t eat scrambled eggs but will eat an omelette, which I know are basically the same thing.
I was lucky enough to see the great Glen Campbell on his farewell tour in 2011. Despite his obvious dementia issues and struggles to follow where he was on the set-list, his vocals and guitar playing were as brilliant as ever. One of the most under appreciated musicians ever IMHO. One of the...
Nasty symptoms for the OP. I’ve also tested positive this week, with the added bonus of a gout attack. Last time I got gout was in 2021, which was also when I last had Covid. Had no idea one could trigger the other, or just an unfortunate coincidence? No gout attacks in between.
I’ve got a Masterbuilt Gravity Series, which I love and hate at the same time.
Pros: great rotisserie and pizza oven. Can put food on it at a low temp and leave it - with no direct flame, you get the smoke and charcoal flavour with no risk of burning. Can control the temp from an app on my...
Did this in October. Booked a day trip from Toronto with a tour operator which meant all attractions were booked for us, and we skipped the lines. Picked up from the hotel at 7.30am, 80min drive, back at the hotel by late afternoon. Personally I wouldn’t stay longer, but if you are in Toronto...
Agree. If wrestlemania goes anywhere outside the US I reckon it’s going to be Saudi. They’ve pumped in a load of money already, and WWE cares far more about making money than it does the fan experience.
While there was no breaking glass sadly, plenty of other iconic wrestlemania moments to enjoy. Just got back to my hotel in Philly, loved my first WM live experience. Mainly here to accompany my 13 year old, but impossible not to get sucked in yourself!
