[Albion] Bournemouth vs Brighton & Hove Albion *** Official Match Thread ***

No wonder Hurzeler didn't celebrate the early goal, he must've known our levels would drop after. Hopefully we'll get back to it after the half time team talk.

Is he even fit enough? Only just started watching but he looks like he's knackered. Can't even make an effort towards the ball that's 3 yards away

Got to admit, that first half was much more entertaining to watch than the second half.

I'm sure some will defend it saying it's individual errors that are costing us, not the overall tactics. Unfortunately the tactics expose the defense like never before and minor mistakes gift one on one chances to the opposition. I love we are so attacking minded and look great going forward but...

The high line tactic looks even worse during that MotD2 analysis, obviously I suppose because they only show the goals we've conceded and not a highlight package of offsides, but still it seems the chances we concede (1on1's) look much easier to score from compared to defending deeper.

The back four need some serious drilling with this high line tactic, some really sub optimal decision making between the four of them. van Hecke leaving his man and charging forward 20 yards when Forest have possession, Veltman looking along the line and playing Forest players onside and Dunks...

[Albion] Ipswich Fans Brighton Memory Lane.

Interesting read. Got reminded about the infamous bannergate game in another thread there, which I'd almost forgotten about. Looking back now was one of the funniest moments at a football game for me. Had swapped tickets from our usual seats in West Upper with mates in the North Stand for a...

[Albion] Who do you want to become our new manager?

Bring back the forgotten man Hyypia for another couple of months, see how he's improved. It couldn't be any worse than it was.

I’ll have to lower my expectations I guess. Hoping for a draw when we go up to Sheffield. Fingers crossed, hope thats not entitled.

Is it entitlement to expect to win against Sheffield Utd?

Looks like BHAFC are making a fixture that is an expected win as difficult as possible… again.

[Albion] Potter- what’s he up to?

On his way back to Brighton if de Zerbi goes to Man Utd.
