More so keeping my powder dry for the trials, tribulations and travel over the next 4/5 weeks. That said, an enjoyable home friendly at Wembley I haven’t seen in a while, so I wouldn’t be calling me Nostradamus just yet!
I can no longer go to Friday’s fixture so if anyone wants to see Lewis Dunk hitting them diags at the national stadium then you can have them (maybe a small donation to a charity or something).
They are behind the goal in with the England Supporters Club so in terms of atmosphere it’ll be about...
@Giraffe Australia tickets may have gone but I also have a pair for not only this fixture, but next week’s Nations League match with Italy too.
Decent enough seats, both lower tier (I think) and a good chance to see one of our own to boot.
Message me if you want them, I only ask that they are...
In all seriousness, as I stupidly missed the boat with buying direct from Edgbaston when they went on sale in May... does anybody know how many Sussex would be allocated if we made it through?
I just wonder if it'll be a match too far for us, don't know if we've already peaked? Probably guessed I'm a pessimist, but just feel our bowling attack isn't carrying the 'bite' it was earlier in the tournament. Players missing through international call up and injury is a shame, although...
Oh and if you apply through Uefa, you can tick a box and that will indicate you are happy to receive tickets in a different price category to the one you have selected... they will only ever move you up or down by one category maximum though. This was done for Euro 2016 and this years Champions...
By far and away your best bet is to become a member of the England Supporters Travel Club (ESTC) and go to as many games between now and the draw in December to build up your caps (loyalty points). Even if you can only get to games at Wembley and none abroad you'll steal a march on most people...
The signage on the M23 says it's only Northbound closed on Sat 19th from 9pm-6am, that would suggest the Southbound M23 is unaffected... but I'm sure someone has the definitive answer.
Don't even think winning this fight will put Eubank back into the world-level bracket, it is a 'meh' nothing fight for me and the only good it'll do going forward for either is having the other guys name on their CV. If DeGale can box to a plan and doesn't gas after 6 rounds, he'll win hands...
It was more a heads up to anyone who wasn't aware it was on, kinda gone a little under the radar. Back to the Hughie fight, I'd be shocked if it doesn't go 12 rounds...
I'll be watching... not sure I rate Hughie too highly but Boxing is often about timing and I think Kubrat Pulev's best days may well be behind him (kudos to Hughie for travelling too).
Also a decent enough looking bill on Sky, short on 'marquee' names but plenty of 50/50 looking fights across...
