I ****ing hate drums but their support yesterday was immense, led by a well-timed drummer who kept them all going. All their noisiest singers are in one place, together, all wanting to sing. At the Amex, we’re disparate, dotted around in small clumps, so it’s difficult to get the atmosphere...

West Ham fans were penned back at entrance to station while we sauntered past. A couple of Hammers fans not best pleased, rattling the fencing [emoji23] Took me 30 mins to walk home. Lovely [emoji106]

Sorry, by immense, I meant on the pitch. We were ok, support wise, but that stadium is not meant for football. Upper and lower tiers miles apart, the roof too high. But when singing together (ie. when the bubbles are on) 50,000 can make a noise.

They made a bit of noise when the bubble machine was switched on, but that was it. We were immense tonight. Just brilliant [emoji170]
