Watched that and can’t see any grumpiness really, unless I’m missing something.
If he is miffed it’s probably because he’s an incredible player who’s having to play third fiddle in his #10 role because the other two happen to be our best player (Pedro) and Georginio who has made the position...
Seen a fair few Celtic fans on twitter saying he’s one of the best players to ever play for them, they’ve had some pretty handy players down the years.
Abysmal refereeing again, that’s never a foul, funny as it is.
Honestly, during the euros I can’t remember thinking that 3 times in the whole tournament yet we’ve had 3 in the opening 7 premier league games. Is the standard of refereeing that s**t or what?
He clearly got the ball before any touch on the player, it’s a clear and obvious error.
But that ‘drive’ will get rid of no issues because we will just have the same arguments every week over whether something is a ‘clear enough’ error to be changed by VAR
Yep, as soon as I saw the touch on the ball I thought that will get overturned, especially as he got the ball before touching Soucek
This whole thing makes VAR decisions even more subjective because one VAR official like in our game today over turns a decision and this one allows a clearly...
The pundits on Sky back the penalty decision as it was the referees decision?
It’s wrong, simple as that, the VAR official said it wasn’t a clear play at the ball? Baffling stuff.
That’s just not a penalty and nothing can convince me otherwise, if you get your toe on the ball then get the player that’s NOT a foul, unless excessive force is used, which it clearly wasn't
wrong decision but VAR didn’t interfere because of the even more subjective ‘it wasn’t that obvious’...
Just ignore them, had a letter from them for stopping in moulscoombe leisure centre once, I didn’t even get out the car just stopped in an empty car park for about 6/7 minutes, laughed at the letter and put it in the bin.
Heard nothing since.
I hope he’s not but given Pedro plays as a number 10, Rutter also plays there I can’t see one of them sitting on the bench every other week and being happy about it.
Why would we spend 40m on a player who plays the same position as our best player? Doesn’t fit the clubs usual recruitment process
Anyone else think Pedro might be off?
Don’t think he fits in with Rutter, they are very similar players, could be the club keeping it on the hush to get the replacements in before the deal is confirmed, Arsenal were rumoured to be after him last week?
Could be a case of putting 2&2 together...
He’s 19 🤯
I feel like people forget this because he seems to have been around while, once he matures into his body and all the usual stuff as players mature he could be a real player, he’s already very technically gifted just raw and needs to find his exact position.
I’d prefer him to go on loan abroad than the championship, he seems the type who would get absolutely smashed to bits in the championship.
Don’t allow an option to buy.
McCoist and Tyldesley are by far far far the best commentary team on TV at these euros, yet it’s the last time they are paired at the tournament…
Oh well, at least we’ve got Sam Matterface
The narrative that we ‘let’ Mac go is nonsense really isn’t it.
I know it’s ultimately guesswork but it’s clear that the club knew Mac intended to leave so they decided to take their medicine and allow him to leave in the summer for the £35m (+up to 15/20m add ons) rather than forcing an...
