replying to myself here but after dropping my food intake ive dropped 0.9kg in 2 days !! that is 2.8 kg in 16 days . Way too quick and risking muscle loss. it looks like i jumped the gun on dropping food and will put it back up on monday . Having a cheat sat as out for beers and alcohol so...
In terms of water weight ......... the scales were the same for me most of last week . last 2 days dropped almost 0.9kg . this happens all the time your body fights the weight loss by storing water . stick with it and it will come off
My update . 2 weeks down as of today on a planned 5 week cut I was doing anyway

week 1 85.4 kg down 1 kg
week 2 84.7 kg down .7kg. actually lost .4kg overnight so makes it a little better.

That rapid weight loss at the beginning of a diet is mainly water weight. Weight loss will slow after that so don't get downhearted . 1000 calories deficit per day below your maintenance, which is huge roughly loses you 2 lb per week . 1 lb per week is great .

track everything, get a food scale
its boring but eat the same meals every day. i eat 4 meals a day meal 1 ,2 4 are exactly the same. meal 3 dinner is rotated around 4 or 5 different meals so I don't drive the wife mad.
weight train and get 1g of protein...
I use the RP diet app to control my weight . Bulking and cutting cycles as like weight training dropped close to 30 kg in 3 years and got to my lowest weight of 83 kg couple months ago while not losing strength . Best thing ive ever done . Have to weigh everything though

I had a triple bill of horror in Oddity , Longlegs and Alien Romulus . All pretty good but surprisingly Oddity was probably the best and im a huge alien fan.

its funny that the original S1 app which i still use for a first gen play 5 in the garage works so much better than the latest app . I tend to use the windows controller as like youve said the latest app is shit (even after the update)
