It certainly would be underwhelming if we got Paynter, but I trust Gus. Every signing so far has been exceptional; CMS, Buckley, Harley and even Hoskins in the game he played.
In Gus we trust.
If you mean Palace at Home, it'll be easy as long as you're online the moment tickets go on general sale. 1000 people won't be online to get a ticket at 9 in the morning if it took two days to shift general sale tickets for the historic first league game against Donny. Liverpool on the other...
The negativity over the North Stand is pretty justified as it is a little odd, but like one of the Posh fans said, these quirks make stadiums what they are and give them their unique feel. I'd much rather our stadium than lifeless St. Mary's, Stadium:MK, Madjeski, Keepmoat etc. Did have to laugh...
Whoever it is and whether Gus gets his man or not, he wants a top 6 finish. He may not openly come out and say it, and quite understandably so, but you don't go unbeaten in August and end the month top of the league and STILL want a target man striker and a 'special' player if you don't want...
Good stats. Palace make me chuckle - and they think they'd fill out 40,000? Funny to see Elland Road less than 60% full considering the amount of boasting their fans do about their support. 24,000 in this league is great, but if you listened to them you'd think they'd be able to fill out Wembley...
It will be a tough 10 or so days for us. Leicester, Liverpool, Leeds and Palace. If the question were made reality, I'd take a loss against Leeds and a victory against Palace ANY day. But this is not how Gus works, and we know that. He goes into every game believing and knowing that we must win...
Exactly this. I'm incredibly excited for the Liverpool game and would be more proud of our team than I ever have before if we beat Liverpool, and what a special night it would be. But all it means is progression to the Round of 16 in a cup that I personally wouldn't have much time for if the...
What a pathetic person you are, just jumping on the bandwagon of people who've said 'cool story bro' and thinking you'll get a bit of applause for it. It's not everyday a Palace fan parks next to a Brighton fan in Sussex, not Croydon, so I thought I'd post a picture of it. If you don't like the...
My top 5 would be:
1. Man City (want it to be their year)
2. Man Utd
3. Liverpool
4. Spurs
5. Chelsea
Chelsea's defending was diabolical against West Brom and Norwich, can't see them doing brilliantly this season.
Ignore them. Everyone knows that if people did bring inflatables and it added to the atmosphere, people would be applauding it after the game. Just like with the Ultras song. If it had been suggested on here beforehand it would have been mauled to pieces, but alas it's been great this season.
Me and my dad parked up in Sainsbury's today, did the shop, returned to car, discovered a pikey had parked next to us. No slashed tyres or key scrapes thankfully, probably only parked up quickly to get supplies for his caravan.
(n.b. picture doesn't show the 'Sussex by the Sea' and old...
But there would be no use of a ticket exchange for a Carling Cup game would there? As STH don't automatically have their seats and have to actively reserve them when they go on sale?
I agree with you. I'm not a STH holder, so I have to believe, but from my experience from Donny where pretty much everyone thought matchday tickets would be an absolute bun fight, but they remained on sale for 2 days, I do believe it'll be possible for non-STH to get tickets. I have been waiting...
Fantastic work Lucas. Absolutely LOVED the Donny one, Buckley's winner brings a tear to my eye every time. What a day. Wasn't at the 'Boro game so haven't seen the Sunderland video, but I'm sure it's epic. Can't wait for it to be on iTunes, keep us posted. :D
