Star Print Clad at the Hope & Ruin last night were absolutely superb! Something very special about this local band. Only their 3rd gig but sooo good!!!

Given the original poll started with Paul Weller in (who I love but also isn’t your classic rock n’ roller) I thought Bowie was a fair suggestion given his incredible and legendary career that yes, isn’t rock n’ roll like Robert Plant or Ozzy Ozbourne but still more rock n’ roll than Neil Tennant 😂

Well even though Ruel Fox is the obvious choice, given its rock n’ roll…..it’s been a long time….so Lord Roberto of Plant it is!

Recently seen Ben Howard at the Brighton Centre, Bob Dylan at the Royal Albert Hall and Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra. All fantastic!

I can highly recommend ‘Star Print Clad’ playing the Hope & Ruin on 13 Dec. I’ve seen their first two gigs and I think they are something special. Local band and super talented. Genuinely think they could go on to great things.

Didn’t see him this time but saw him about 4 years ago (maybe 5). He was great, but, as you say, no Springsteen.
