[Football] VAR April 2023 Poll - Fit for Purpose?

I have heard it said that VAR get more things right than wrong. Not sure how you test that. Supporters have always bitched about the referee sometimes justified and sometimes not. Split second decisions are not always the most accurate but watching the EFL Championship they seem to get more...

    [Football] The Apology

I just wonder if Attwell's vision would have been better if it was Kane or Son who went down in a similar incident

    [Football] The Apology

Its not just the penalties and disallowed goals. What of the definite Reds that should have been given to Doucoure and Fermino? VAR is just another layer of bureaucracy that football does not need. I find it strange (maybe deliberately) that some clubs have every decision scrutinised for many...

[Albion] Tottenham Hotspur vs Brighton & Hove Albion *** Official Match Thread ***

Is it pro big clubs? or anti-Brighton? I refer of course to the obvious onside goal that was disallowed. I was looking forward to the semi-final but I suspect we will be playing the officials again then too as we have been most of this season Saddest of all is that Spun*s probably think they...

    [Albion] England Squad announcement shortly

That really does show his ineptitude and lack of ability to notice talent unless the media put the names under his vision impairing nose. He has no tactical nous but seems to notice that RDZ plays a different way without the slightest knowledge of how to incorporate any of it into his own...

    [Albion] England Squad announcement shortly

Southgate's only speciality is being a great loser. He has never won a game against a team when England are not expected to win. He is able to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Pick a team in the EPL or any other top division who would want Southgate? Lewis Dunk is probably in the top 3...

    [Albion] Pascal Groß

He should stay!! The experience he could pass on is second only to Bruno. GP rates him as well or he wouldn't have been in today. Vorsprung Durch Technik!!! What a player to have and if he is out of contract wages may be advantages.

    [Football] Scrapping the 3pm blackout

The streams, wherever you get them from are from the Premier League so I presume they take a cut from the club's income for arranging maximum TV/advertising revenues, I am of course open to correction. There are many people whose occupation prevents attendance. If those people are willing to...

There is "ifollow" which I believe you can subscribe to and watch both home and away games. Not sure if the home team gets the lions share or how the money is divided.

    [Albion] Saints at home was...

Cucurella was a clearly pushed just before he made the tackle that gave away the free kick from which he was booked and Scummers scored. The officials were appalling (maybe my blue and white glasses).
