They're going to struggle to sign any star quality this window all the while they're staring the Championship in the face. What also won't help is the current lack of an experienced CEO / Director of Football to help grease the wheels, use some contacts and get deals over the line (keep your...
There aren't a lot of stand-out ties in the 4th round, so I can easily see ours being picked for TV, along with Kidderminster v West Ham, maybe Everton v Brentford, Forest v Leicester, and Man U v Boro (OBVS), if they get through.
If the trains are twatting about that weekend then I'd probably...
Ghostbusters - Afterlife
I went into this with pretty low expectations, being as every Ghostbuster sequel since the original has been complete and utter dogshit (particularly that utterly RANCID 2016 offering with all the shrieking women, I mean christ). But Afterlife I really enjoyed. Its...
This is a point well made. I too find it intensely irritating to hear an "OOOOOOHHHHHHHOoooooo" in the background when some Burnley herbert has just spannered a ball into row Q.
Unfortunately though, when you've got a couple of accas on, SSN is basically essential viewing.
Ahh crap.
I've got a Watford mate who usually sources me and a couple of mates some tickets with him in the home end. This is going to put me right off.
Nope.
But I could see with my own eyes we had our boot on their throat for the vast majority of the game, up to and beyond the sending off. Utterly delusional to claim they were "in complete control".
Holding couldn't pass wind. He was absolutely shocking.
SHOCKING.
I'm mildly irritated as Arsenal was the last leg of my acca, and was the most odds-on of the lot. Thought I was home and dry after the other 4 came in this afty. How naive I was.
Frankly I wouldn't touch him with a shitty stick. I think he'd consider he was doing us a favour by coming here on loan, and given the level of his performance and body language this evening, he looks exactly like someone we DON'T need.
As a club, we seem to have moved away from loan deals...
There was one break in particular when Moder simply glided forward into their box, leaving their defenders trailing in his wake looking like they were running through treacle. He's such a powerful runner and plays with his head up, he has great awareness. Lovely player, and still only 22...
Valerien Ismael: "Until the red card we were completely in control. The red card was the game-changer."
Possession: 30% - 70%
Shots: 4 - 21
On Target: 1 - 8
Corners: 5 - 10
Right-o Valery
Its quite simple. Since getting the game called off, they'll have had the opportunity to enhance and strengthen their squad for the re-arranged fixture - in theory, it could be a whole new team. You think thats fair, I don't. Lets leave it at that.
Ashley kept Newcastle (a) solvent and (b) in the PL for the vast majority of his ownership. Newcastle fans are just deluded prats who thought they should be pushing top 4.
If Ashley gets hold of Derby, there's no way he's doing it with a few to having them bumming around in the noddy leagues...
Only about 35 years.
We played with a depleted squad in our fixture vs Wolves (covid + injuries), stunk the place out and lost. Other clubs have gone cap in hand to the PL, pleaded that their half-billion pound squads can't cope, and had the benefit of their games being binned and had a nice...
In normal times, clubs would not be permitted to have games called off purely because of injuries, that is fact. These times of covid have exacerbated it - they'll "add" the injuries and the covids both together to (somewhat dubiously) get a game conveniently binned.
The issue here is clubs...
