Preston Park area is your best bet. About 20/25mins walk to the bars in Brighton and no parking permits if you are north of the park. Its also easy to get out of Brighton in the car.
I think that would be a great signing. He can do the business at both ends of the pitch. If (big if) its true then I think that would be a great bit of business, even if we do pay more for him than we sold him for.
As if Blackpool want 11,000 more hammers in the ground.
Would you be happy if we got to a playoff final and the other team had 11,000 more fans watching that we did? Regardless of if we sold them or not of cause you wouldnt!
For the record...
If, and that is a BIG if, we do sign him, I for one will be VERY happy with that. He is an established premership player who has more England caps than most of the Championship. He would be the perfect foil for CMS and would hopefully bring out the best in him.
Look at who downing was supplying crosses to... 0 assists isnt good but at the same time he cant help it if the people in the middle arent going to finish them
Lets face it, if Wilshire was fit, he would have replaced Lampard, I think Walker is acctually injured (or a doubt at very least) and he would have been going, Slightly supprised that Richards isnt going and that there isnt 5 forwards to cover for Rooney's suspension.
All in all, its a pretty...
I would rather go for 50 Scotland caps than 5 England ones if Im honest.
If there was a good chance of making a tourniment with England however things might be diffrent
I'd be quite happy if any of them joined the Albion.
The last time I can remember England having 2 good forwards was the Shearer and Owen days. (owen and Rooney never really played together).
Maybe having one superstar in Rooney would help us, if all the attention is stopping him that would...
From what I remember in the Argus story it was more Scotland looking at him and realising that he could play for them rather than him saying I want to be Scottish!
