100% this
The long and short of the argument is simply this:
SOME cyclists are twats. SOME drivers are twats. A **** is a **** whether they cycle, drive a car or both.
If you are a team that encourages defenders to play out from the back then occasionally they are going to make mistakes unless they are world class players. I would much rather embrace this style of football and the odd error every now and again than revert to percentages style kick and rush...
Really?
That surprises me. Thought he had a decent reputation at least as a coach, if not a manager. Expected him to be coaching somewhere higher up the leagues.
I saw a bloke at my work walk into a cubicle holding a baguette. Heard him unzip his trousers and sit down then proceed to take a bite of his baguette. DISGUSTING!
We really really need a target man type striker as backup. Bringing on Obika/CMS/Hoskins/Rodriguez for Ulloa means we have to completely change our style. If we are trying to protect a lead and Ulloa is knackered, this is not ideal.
Joking aside, last night's game was screaming out for a Crofts/Stephens type player to take the game by the scruff of the neck.
We really missed a combative box-to-box type midfielder IMO and, while I admire JFC's talents, I'm not sure that is his best role.
To be fair, our "second string" team is actually very decent. We could potentially play the teams below and still be competitive in both matches, barring the obvious issue up front.
