He seems be constantly getting injured which is really disrupting for him. Not sure if it's bad luck, growth spurts of a 19 year old, or he's just too fragiley built.

But what about Sami and Oscar? Nothing springs to mind but I was out of the country for most of their reigns.

I didn't know much about him during his early time in Spain and wasn't impressed with what he did at Arsenal. He did brilliantly on his return to Spain at Villareal and fair play he seems to be doing great work at Villa, also highlighting what a poor manager Gerrard is.
I don't think Tony has a static "model", it will have various phases and allow for risk at certain key moments, which we could be approaching this summer. Ultimately he knows, better than almost anyone, when to stick or twist.
Thought Pervis and Mitoma looked knackered, I'd play Solly at LB and Buanotte for Mitoma
