I would seriously considered taking him, because when he was here last season. He was the only winger, who could get down the byline and produce a decent service to Forster and Murray. This means Cox can go to reserves, and Westlake can be brought in on the left hand side.

I feel sorry for Virgs, he should be centre back with Elphick or El-Abd. His confidence is really low at the moment, and moving him round in different positions won't help his confidence either. We know what kind of player Virgs is, but MA doesn't see it!

He has lost alot of pace, still doesn't seem entirely match-fit. His legs are seriously going, and his footballing brain isn't there. But at the moment, he is the only central midfielder we have with a decent pass on him.
