Presume it was the Ben Roberts link, but the signing seems genuinely bizarre. I’m not knocking bob either, he’s a decent keeper (just not quite as good as Steele with his feet), but was he an upgrade on Kepa or Mendy? I don’t think so.

I also posted some photos I’d gleaned access to - a SCOOP of Donald Trump wearing a Palace kit while on trial there… went down like a lead balloon.

I’d be sad to see him go, I think he’s an excellent player and with a run of games I think he’d fit into our style perfectly.

That’s quite how I read it too, it seemed even as if Lallana, Wellbeck and Milner had been proposed by posters on their forum as decent signings (when they were free agents) only to be shot down by most of the board members.

I think that I think that really comes down to hard work on the training pitch for this sort of situation. The outfield players know how to position themselves for an out ball. Likewise, Steele knows exactly where they'll be.

He does generally lack composure in front of goal. The longer he has to pick his spot the more the doubt seems to set in. When he has to take the shot instinctively he's always been much better, and I think that really showed yesterday - two incredible, instinctive finishes.
