I don't know what a prius is but once the children are grown and I don't have car seats for everyone you can bet your bottom dollar I will drive a smaller car.

2pm Somewhere near Winchester. Cloudy but super warm and muggy. We need a good thunder storm to clear the air.

We've had this before about the cost - I drive a 4 x 4 because I cannot fit my car seats accross the back of another car, but at the same time I drive one and Paddy one because we can afford to fill it up, insure it blah blah. A tax of I think it was £5k per year was mooted on here won't stop me...

They won't be living in any environment if I don't have them properly restrained. If we lived nearer the school my kids would walk or cycle. Unfortunately their school is about twenty miles away from where we live.

My kids are safe and that is the only thing I am concerned about. So yeah, we're alright, jack.

Oh don't get me started on that! It's not good for my blood pressure. LOL £30 fixed penalty fine for not adhering? It's a joke. And why is a taxi OK to be unrestrained in and not your family car? They both travel on the same rods at the same speeds. On the surface it's good (still waiting...

I am a car seat technician, you are preaching to the converted. The school my children attend does not run school buses but I am well known at the council, the LEA, local schools and numerous school bus and coach companies around here for writing and calling. There is one school that use a...

A four year old belted in a three point seatbelt is a recipe for disaster. christ...all I did was MENTION the flaws of school busses as an alternative  ;)

But why would you want people to risk their children's lives and have them travel improperly restrained? (And it's the same in America, which is why a lot of parents drive their children to school)

    >>Trains don't have seatbelts and neither do normal buses. That doesn't make it right though. This country is backward in child passenger safety it's unreal. I don't understand why people chose not to harness their children. Ugh. People are sick of talking about it on here I bet so I won't go...

Yes but it's optional if they have three point or lap belts. My son and daughter both ride in harnessed car seats, they are 8 and 5 and will not be stopping riding in a harness any time soon. I cannot install either with a lap belt.

Are you serious? There is no way my children will ride on a bus unless they are fitted with proper belts and car seats. Unfortunately this country is incredibly backward in child restraints and passenger safety so I doubt that will happen in my kids life times. I drive a 4 x 4, would be...

Is this the most Ridicolous Ask the Club Question in NSC History?

Manners? Heh. You quoted entirely the wrong message as being from Fourteenth Eye actually. Maybe he'll take it as an honour having your words of wisdom passed off as his, who knows!

That you need to learn how to quote, copy and paste properly. You lot are better than Big Brother.

What county do you live in?

Hey, Hampshire is the place to be. Live in Hampshire, don't really want to ever leave but the husband unit has other ideas.

    Replacement camera again

The blur - you need to take pictures at a faster shutter speed/higher ISO to avoid it. I don't know what settings you had your previous Canon set to but the A60 while good it it's day is old now and the old Canons had a lot of noise at ISO400 (which was the maximum on your old camera)...

    Replacement camera again

I don't have one, but you could get a much better camera than that one for the money you will pay for it. And 9.24MP is way more than you will ever need.
