If we get 6 points from the next two games, all the chasing teams will be doing the worrying.

    [Misc] Christmas Nocturnalism

The Christmas break gets longer and longer for some people. Met a chap recently, who finished on the 16th Dec and goes back to work on 9th Jan. Thats nearly a month!!! He's not going away anywhere so what the hell do you find to do for that length of time? Being self-employed, I will finish on...

Are Reading like us under poyet?

Reading have got too many injuries at the moment to make a decent judgement. Before Jon Swift got injured, he was scoring for fun and causing all teams problems, not the least us, when he scored in the first two minutes. Reading will be a different proposition in the New Year and will be...

India v England: Fourth Test, Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai 8-12 December

Embarrassing and predictable. All you hear is...." wait til we get them back to England ".....pathetic response. Wouldn't it be refreshing to see some application. Wouldn't it be refreshing to see some decent technique against spin. The quality of Test cricket continues to go down the drain...

    Next season in the Championship.

It would be the tipping point for our club. One season too many in the Championship, trying to compete with those with greater resources. CH would make a dignified exit, having taken the club as far as he could. Pastures new for Dunk, Stephens, Kayal and possibly Knocky and March. Those also...

Sky coverage of the match last night

Agree with that but lets be honest, Dunk was head and shoulders above anyone else on the pitch. The boy just oozes class from start to finish, controls the whole back line and is clearly the best centre-back in the division. Without him, we are not the same side.

    well done so far

Do you not care about the future of the club? We are losing tens of millions and will continue to do so unless we get promoted. If we don't, key players will be sold. Knockaert, Dunk, Stephens, Kayal and March will all go to try and balance the books. This is serious stuff. TB is putting a lot...

Leeds is going to be CRAP!

The press have been bigging up Leeds lately but they were well beaten by Newcastle recently. Fulham are potentially the best footballing team in the division and we came through that challenge. Five points from the next 3 games will do, followed by a maximum haul between Xmas and New Year. Its...

Christmas Day morning - Cafe in Hove?

I'm all for a bit of early rising on Christmas Day, as long as it remains in the confides of the bedroom. A very pleasant way to start the day.

MK Dons or Charlton in 3rd round of FA Cup

What a load of utter tripe. Since when have MK Dons had a chance of playing in Europe? Hard to believe but its obvious that MKD are paying him more than Hearts. That is his step up, in financial terms. The man is a deluded and misguided idiot to make this move.

    Hughton's Away Tactics

If Baldock had kept his composure in the early minutes and played a simple, accurate ball across to Murray, we would have taken the lead. This would have changed the game. Cardiff would have been forced to come out of their shell and we would have picked them off. Fine margins.

    [Politics] Brexit

...and had Remain won the vote, the vast majority of Leave voters would have shrugged their shoulders, accepted the result, got on with their lives and waited patiently for the day when the EU inevitably crashes and burns.
