Yeah, done it a couple of times. First I thought was patronising, box-ticking rubbish. Guy doing it made us all feel like naughty children and it felt weirdly confrontational. Wasn't helped by me thinking I was unfairly done: 1am on a completely empty motorway, suddenly goes to a 50 with very...
I've only been playing for a few years, but I always liked Justin Guitar on YouTube when I was starting out. Good selection of songs to play at various levels, and breaks them down in a helpful way.
Do you know what, yes I think that's exactly what will happen. There'll be a lot of pisstaking, Roberto will put an arm around him and Moises will get on with the job that he's paid (£3,500pw) to do.
It's mad how this story has grown to him now wearing a Jamaica shirt at an actual game. He's Scottish, a football fan (GGTTH), and was asked a question about supporting England during the 2006 World Cup. Why in god's name would he want England to win? I'd be more pissed off if he came out with...
Seeing Steve Evans on TV recently reminded me of the time he was manager of Leeds and we hammered them 4-0 at the Amex. "Pie in his pocket, he's got a pie in his pocket."
Sensational games (just started yet another replay of TLOU 1 in preparation for this) and this was a great watch last night. Like how they've fleshed out just enough of the story yet kept the spirit and look of the games.
Likewise, I was in the home end at Upton Park with a mate when we lost 6-0. It was quite clear by my lack of enthusiasm at having to stand up to applaud for the third time in the opening 10 minutes that I was a Brighton fan. Became a source of amusement to the home fans around me as the game...
Another Jags fan here so absolutely buzzing with that comeback and yesterday at the Amex. Wife has family living in Jacksonville so have been over there. Not seen a game there yet (only in London) but was lucky enough to watch a pre-season training session and do a stadium tour.
I don't venture too far into Brighton on matchdays any more, but I've definitely seen Abyss on at the Evening Star. Beak is the better known of the two and I can normally pick up a can or three at my local micropub. Their These Hills beer festival last summer was also incredible.
Done both, both brilliant, never had issues with space. Both will have decent pop-up food outside as well. On the Brighton side, UnBarred is equally as good. Just a 10-min walk to get a bus to the Amex.
My wife is a published author and also edits the occasional book. She has a shit sense of humor though. Drop me a message if you're interested and I'll send you her contact details.
That's me done with the P&R until they put on more buses. Left on the final whistle, joined the queue just before the bottom of the steps, took more than an hour to get back to the car from there. The queue behind us snaked right back round the stadium. God knows how long it took to clear. We...
