Haha I was being slightly tongue in cheek. The transfer interest in him following his successful international tournament just reminded me of Baros but I'm aware he has more of a pedigree than his compatriot did
To be honest, I find I have much more in common with the Palace fans I have met/chatted to over the years than I do with plastic fans of Man Utd, Liverpool, Spurs etc. Most tend to be fairly knowledgeable about football in general.
Very refreshing to see this issue presented in a balanced and nuanced way. Usually, this debate (as most things are these days) is just people on both sides with deeply entrenched views screaming hysterically at each other
