Once again, it seems like the people most opposed to this move are the ones more likely to attempt to cheat the system. I'm all for anything to make sure the rules we all signed up to are enforced properly.
For the vast majority of people, they wouldn't dream of buying tickets with no intention...
I thought he looked decent - couple of nice touches, and clearly is capable at this level. Was very let down by the service to him, particularly from Calderon and Crofts.
Think it was a lot to do with the Britain First march through Derby town centre yesterday - there was a bunch of them (as you'd expect, overweight white men in army tops) shouting abuse at people. One of them called me a 'c word' because I wouldn't take their shitty little newspaper.
Halal is a cleaner, more humane way of extracting meat from an animal. Instead of the torture some of the animals receive in non-Halal abattoirs, killing them by a single cut to the throat is surely preferable. I have no issues with whoever prepares my meat, whether they identify as muslim...
This evening, I saw a bloke of about 30 stealing in my local Asda. He was walking round, taking things off the shelves and slipping them under his coat (items like razors, HDMI cables, deodorant etc). He must have taken around £30 worth of stuff, before he just wandered out the door.
Take a...
How many of us making the journey up to Aberdeen this weekend then? I'm staying up there for a couple of nights - anyone else out and about on the Saturday night?
Agree with Stockdale. I also really rated Holla in the beginning, but the drop-off in form was significant last year.
Previously, I always loved Dean Cox - was gutted when we sold him. I'd still have him back in the team now.
They can't confirm that yet - Sky haven't chosen which game to screen live. One will definitely move to the Friday night - so we have a 1 in 12 chance that it won't be on the Saturday.
Hi
Do you know when tickets will go on sale for the Aberdeen friendly? There's also some confusion about the date according to various sites - is it Saturday at 7:45pm or Sunday at 3:00pm?
Cheers
My answers are:
1: No
2: No
There are parts of the 1901 experience that i'm not happy about (I miss Kerry Mayo being in the lounge before games, and the food is of a poor quality at times), but I wouldn't dream of taking legal action against the club I love about this.
I'm going to try for Aberdeen, but even starting out from Leeds it's a bloody long journey. For a 3pm Sunday kickoff i'd need to book hotels (probably in Edinburgh) for both the Friday and Saturday night.
For a while now, i've been half-heartedly trying to 'do the 92' - ie going to see matches at every league ground. Now that there's no football for a bit, i've started trying to organise the information into a spreadsheet - i've listed all the games i've attended, but I could do with some sort of...
I was talking to someone who works for a League One club last week, and he was telling me that the income from programmes each match is greater than the income from food on a matchday. There's clearly still a market for the matchday programme, although I agree that they need a revamp.
Good thread.
I've just booked my hotel for a week at the Edinburgh Festival in August, so will see plenty of shows up there. So far, i've booked to see Alun Cochrane, Josie Long, Dara O'Briain and Ray Peacock in the next couple of months. I also saw Phoenix Nights in Manchester a couple of...
Done. However, with regards to the last question - if I could genuinely time-travel, buying a copy of Fifa wouldn't be high on my list. I'd be more interested in trying to get it on with Karen Gillan before she knew any better....
He's not the worst though, just the most high-profile. The left-back at arsenal (Chambers??) is always mouthing off at the officials, but nothing gets done.
