You'll be delighted to know then that it wasn't really a problem. My sons child benefit went straight into a savings account for him when he's older.
Now that it's stopped - we've supplemented that from our own income.
Child benefit is an antiquated system which should have been overhauled...
Your argument is invalid. I don't disagree with child benefit, but I do disagree with subsidising low income families who are incapable of keeping a lid on it. The world is too populated anyway. It's time we thought about the future.
Any party which has those proposals in it's manifesto would get my vote. Why should I have to subsidise lower income families with shit loads of kids? My wife and I agreed to have 1 child, as we could afford keeping him in the manner in which he should be accustomed to. A 2nd child for us...
No it is not appropriate, and as a school they should have asked permission from a parent or guardian before showing it. My wife is a teacher, and suggests to approach the teacher first and ask for the reasons behind showing it, and then if you do not receive an appropriate response then take...
Starbucks - there's your problem right there. They do coffee, and really bad coffee. How anyone thinks that a bad coffee house can do anything resembling an edible English Breakfast bap is beyond me. Should have gone to a greasy spoon, most likely run by eastern Europeans, but understand the...
Food Diary for the day;
1) Full English breakfast, ensuring no chips are present in this meal.
2) Couple of English Real Ales in the spring sun (if it decides to show it's face today) for lunch
3) Roast Beef and Yorkshires (with English Mustard) with gravy you can stand a spoon up in, washed...
Very much this. They've been inflating their accounts for years based on property values of their assets which are unrealistic. This way they do it all in one hit, on the back of previous bad press, and then they bounce back next year. Capitalism at it's best.
I really hope that someone remembered to put a relegation clause in every single one of the player contracts. I don't want some over priced lazy good for nothing playing for my team in League One next season.
What utter tosh - football has now become a business. I don't see anything wrong with Newcastle making profit, in fact to be probably the only other club in that league besides Arsenal making profit, and still remaining competitive shows incredible business acumen.
I applaud them.
