Well done. My point was around the differing physical attributes of the genders, and that sports where "close" physical contact without object assistance (such as polo/hockey) is paramount, you will never be able to have professional competitive mixed gender teams.
I think the problem lies with the inherent close physical contact of the sport. Apart from Rugby, there is no other team sport where physical strength plays a part in the contest between opposing players.
I've been an avid reader of this thread since it's inception but never felt obliged to add to it until today.
Two utter CJTC's who I unfortunately work for and with, decided to talk through the entire 1 minutes silence today for the Tunisia victims, even though a full office tannoy announcement...
One of the most dangerous things in your garden. Be exceptionally careful when turning this sh*t over.

It occurred to me that I haven't seen a thread dedicated to Car paraphernalia related to all things Albion.

And yes this post was meant in jest, albeit not a very funny joke.
The situation in Calais cannot continue. The migrant numbers there are now 3000+ and will continue to rise. It's not something easy to resolve, and I most certainly don't have a solution.
If it was my flippancy which moved...
The migrants are just taking advantage of the chaos. Best solution would be small tactical nuke to Calais. Sort out the strikers and the migrants in one. Maybe a few indigenous UK casualties, but the sacrifice of the few would help the country in the long term.
If the Chinese want to eat, that's up to them. Got nowt to do with me, and it certainly isn't my business to tell the Chinese to stop eating them, because my culture doesn't. Just as it isn't my business to tell a Muslim to eat a cow, because my culture does.
They've been doing this for...
