[Albion] Cost to be a mascot in the Premier League....

To be honest I'm now on his side. Who wants to be hanging around at the Goldstone for 2 hours before kickoff so their kid and walk out holding hands with Junior McDougald?

[Albion] Cost to be a mascot in the Premier League....

Given the popularity of the club at the moment they could probably charge quite a bit more and still sell out to be honest, but that doesn't mean they should. Obviously some people just view it like a ticket, merchandise, anything else - the club are selling it and the fans can buy it. For me...

[Albion] Cost to be a mascot in the Premier League....

I don't think people are ignoring that. I just think they should ALL be done that way. Or through other avenues that aren't buying it for your kid.

[Albion] Cost to be a mascot in the Premier League....

Lots of people saying it's good "value". Obviously it might be, but it's still expensive as f***. Maybe I need to be wiser to the way of the world but it just feels like this is the kind of thing that shouldn't be paid for. Drawn at random, given to disadvantaged kids, done through schools or...

[Albion] Cost to be a mascot in the Premier League....

About half of my son's (u10s) team have done this. Leads to a bit of pressure on the rest of us sadly. Some of them who've done it have barely even been to any other games.

[Albion] If Ferguson is now worth £51m, maybe Hürzeler might consider letting him play?

Fair enough, didn't realise that was a rule. Not read any previous pages of the thread so apologies if that's been well and truly covered.

[Albion] If Ferguson is now worth £51m, maybe Hürzeler might consider letting him play?

Probably already been said but if he HAS to go on loan it should 100% be Leicester. - Premier League football - Score some goals to take points of some of our European rivals - Build up relationships with Buananotte for when they both return next year - Get coached by one of the greats to play...

[Misc] Does WFH (working from home) reduce productivity?

It depends on the person and circumstance. I'm easily distracted and I live in a small 3-bed house with two primary school aged children. I accept they wouldn't be there until 4pm (still earlier than the working day ends) but the clutter, the mess, the chaos after getting them out each day and...

Sergio Aguero Shows Respect-Take Note James Mclean

Any evidence that he is a supporter of the IRA and their policies? He posted that stupid picture of him and his kids wearing a balaclava a few years back and was rightly criticised by all sides. But it was a poor taste joke rather than any sort of ringing endorsement of them. He only ever...

[Travel] Train disruption Tonight (Cup versus Liverpool)

Not quite sure what your issue is here mate. Chat about trains broadens into general discussion about Amex transport, on a side note one person says it might be worth increasing sheltered bike parking due to increased number of people using it as a method, no one offers any opposition or...

My first thought was Sussex Uni campus.

[Travel] Train disruption Tonight (Cup versus Liverpool)

I don't have a gripe - I've never not got one of the covered spots. But covers for bike racks can be bought for a few hundred quid and installed in an afternoon. so it's quite an easy thing to do that has absolutely nothing to do with park and ride or train queues. Apart from it might keep...

[Travel] Train disruption Tonight (Cup versus Liverpool)

Because it's nice to sit on a dry rather than wet saddle - especially if it's been raining but isn't massively heavy. Most cyclists also leave their helmet etc chained to their bike, and I also change in and out of waterproof gear (it goes over my other clothes, not stripping down on the...

    [Drinking] Children in pubs

I spent a lot of my childhood in Ireland where it was the norm, but you behaved. Could even sit at the bar. Nice times spent with the adults in my life. Nothing wrong with kids in pubs but: 1) Shouldn't be for too long and the adults shouldn't be drinking too much 2) They need to sit down and...

[Travel] Train disruption Tonight (Cup versus Liverpool)

I think (and my geography might be wrong here) that they'd have to exit the same way as the Bridge/BACA car park. Which is already chaos. I'm lucky enough to be able to cycle most games and it's by far the best way. However it's now increasingly hard to find a a covered space to chain your bike...

    [Politics] Inheritance Tax

Yes but what I'm saying is unless you have a grandparent who owns/owned property, then you don't have the choice anymore to take Option A.
