Pure gambling on roulette tables etc for an indefinite period yep I agree. It's possible to win long-term on sports, but if you're any good you'll get restricted in time anyway.
I have it on and off, mine generally materialises with a cold. The first time it happened I was at tennis training, went to hit a serve and the world turned upside down and I hit the floor hard. Everyone laughed, including me, wondering what the hell had just happened. Stepped up to hit the...
Some of them think like that, but it's more the people with families and the attitude of 'it won't happen to me' that rankles- one hell of a gamble to take. Of course you hope to never have to use insurance, in which case yes it's money 'wasted', but if you do need it then it becomes the best...
Slightly off on a tangent but in my line of work do a fair bit of life/health insurance... and can never understand why people are so unwilling to pay for it. Like you say it is is massive gamble and people are gambling with their ability to maintain a standard of living in the face of illness...
No pace in that team at all. Don’t see how we get out of our half. Plan must be to keep it tight then have a go at the end but they have too much quality and will pick us off before we make positive changes.

Just seen this on twitter. Sums up the arrogance of the man really- willing to bet after the Boro game there might be a bit of history with Dunk and The Complete And Utter Shyster and that he was buzzing to be able to send him off today. ****.
Was the correct call though. Jurgen looked sharp and hungry in the first half and was unlucky not to score. I don't see him getting in ahead of a fit and firing Izquierdo in that position, but he's clearly got something to offer.
Yep I genuinely believe he is going to have a stormer this afternoon. Make no mistake this a is pro-Locadia thread and there will be a lot of people with egg on their faces in here celebrating the great man at 5pm.
Really seized his big opportunity. Absolutely ran himself into the ground and looked worth every penny of the £14 million we spent on him. Think he is really going to kick on from here.
I will not be reading replies to this thread.
Very interesting line-up. I think that will be more 4-3-3 than 4-4-1-1? Imagine Gross deeper than Bissouma as positional discipline going to be important
Disagree really, the games and sport you refer to are finite and self-contained. Video games for a lot of kids these days (boys particularly) are a huge part of their social lives, and because many games are now designed essentially as virtual communities it means that they are often reflective...
Glad I changed to the NBC stream at halftime. Imagine getting a scouser in to do the commentary for a Liverpool home game, as if that's going to be impartial. Fkin clowns BT.
Disagree that he owed any kind of 'loyalty' beyond the end of last season. He's too old and too good to be sat on our bench, especially given his circumstances can't begrudge him at all wanting to play.
