[Misc] Drinking tea in the evening

Takes a long time to come back according to Google. Some sites suggest sniffing strong smells such as coffee, to re educate your taste buds. Most of your taste comes through smell apparently, be interesting to see if spraying stuff up your nose works better than not doing much.

[Misc] Drinking tea in the evening

Yorkshire tea is proper tea, dark brown. Last May I caught the Flu or Man Flu twice within a month which involved a lot of coughing. Result is I have lost my sense of taste and smell, so I am able to remove the sugar from the tea experience. Funny thing is I still go.... aahh with the first...

[Misc] Have you had the heating on yet? [2016 edition]

Still in shorts. But as a kid in the 50's who played and tunnelled into 6 foot snow drifts, in short trousers. Woke up to thick ice on the inside of the Crittall windows in my bedroom, with just coal fires for heating the house, I tend not to fanny about trying to be the last person in the...

Help with a uni project - takes 1 minute

Shouldn't cost a lot. Trackers for skiers have been around for a bit and at the moment there are adds on line for a car tracker App.

Motor Yacht A - OLIGARCH INTEREST THREAD - off brighton

Ah! yes, the sailing yacht A. The ugliest Yacht in the World. Looking at the picture gives you no idea how big it is, it's huge. The masts are the biggest in the world and made in Portsmouth. ( They are ugly too.)

Great cast. Why on earth are the BBC hiding it away on BBC3. Best I've seen for ages.

    Walking Football?

I left the one I went to. No Warm up or stretching, no skills practice, just straight into a 45 minute a side game. Without a proper Ref the running wasn't controlled either. All this on a small 5 a side/ tennis court sized pitch. So if you do a lot of the routines that would take place in a...
