Would agree with this, you can be successful at a game purely if someone tells you exactly what to do, whereas in a sport there is some skill required in the 'doing'.
Always exceptions though as, by that logic, playground games such as It/Tag/whatever-you-called-it would be a sport.
Darts is...
Why not? There's like 3 buildings that fall on the Welsh side, one of which is the football stadium.
Why not just redraw the border slightly so that all of Chester is in England? It's an arbitrary, man-made line in the first place, after all.
If it's about the size of two-pence piece (including the legs) then I think it's this. So named cos they have soft brown fur.
Having never seen one before, we moved house at the beginning of last year and have absolutely loads of them. Mostly in the garden, but occasionally they venture into...
Sigh....
You didn't say a perception, you said the perception, which is quite different. I'm saying the people promoting that as the perception are more concerned with sowing division than actually improving the situation.
Let's not forget that a large part of the reason for lack of...
No, that is the perception of white privilege that has been promoted by some to get certain sections of society all worked up.
White privilege means nothing more than the 'privilege' of not being discriminated against based on the colour of your skin. Nothing more. It does not mean that every...
Taking the knee started a long, long time before George Floyd.
Do you know what the best way to stop players taking the knee would be? How about actually taking some concrete steps towards equal treatment for ethnic minorities?
You almost seem to come to this conclusion yourself, but for some...
Glad that they've actually been punished for their shenanigans last season, was worried they were going to get away with it, particularly after the points deduction was halved mid-season. Should have been relegated for it last season imho.
Also pleased for Liam Rosenior if nothing else.
I used to work on a particle accelerator and you get to hear about a lot of interesting (though horrific) accidents from the early days of the field. Not often they feature survivors though - most of what we know about the dangers of high radiation doses is based on studying these poor people...
Blimey, just looked up their squad that year and he's not wrong! A midfield of Lallana, Oxlade-Chamberlain and Schneiderlin (not to mention one Dale Stephens) in League 1 seems ridiculous
Staycation is a particular bugbear of mine.
If staycation means anything it surely means taking time off work but just staying at home, but recently people keep using it to mean a holiday where you don't travel abroad. No, that's still called a holiday.
Been saying this for ages, it would solve all the problems surely! If it's on the line, it's umpires call, otherwise it will be clear and obvious either way.
