I think he is getting some really unfair stick. Following Fergie was always going to be hard and there are only a handful of managers who could have kept them near the top, especially with that squad. The players have also got to take a long hard look at themselves.
I know your not blaming me and this isn't in direct reply to you (more just putting facts out there).
This year there have been changes to the team and the way it has been picked.
It was advertised on here that there are spaces available and there were just shy of 30 people that got in...
With the Vicente news it's got me thinking. That run against Derby that cannoned off the bar was probably the best 'goal' that I've seen not scored.
Are there any better ones that you've seen live where the keeper makes a great save to hits the woodwork or is cleared off the line?
Although...
Just did a piece on poyet on 5live, they said he sounds like a man who has given up and one of the guys said that it sounds exactly like the end of last season, he isn't getting his own way up there so the toys are coming out again. Interesting.
The Dev Squad is the bridge between the u18's and first team.
The u21 squad is the same but they are called the u21 squad because they play in the u21 league which replaced the reserves league. There is a rule where you can play up to 2 over age players outfield and one in goal.
Talk sport had the rights for the game. There have been a few this season that the BBC haven't got.
It's the same today with BT Sport having the semi final.
Leeds can't buy a win at the moment (mainly because they're skint but also because they're on some shocking form) and you just know they'll beat us. That's 6 points. Probably knick it against Charlton on the last day too to stay up.
