I gave up the lottery long ago. The odds on winning anything is very low, I'd be more inclined to play if they split the jackpot into more smaller prizes. I sometimes do the football pools now, at least there's a bit of interest working out what the results could be and seeing how close i get. I...
At the end of the day it's down to the fans. If people don't turn up at matches and don't pay the price to watch football on Sky, then they have no choice to make it affordable.
To be fair, anyone who watches all their football sitting in an armchair with a commentary and listening to pundits, probably will soak up more information about certain aspects of the game than someone who spends Saturday afternoons enjoying a pie and pint watching their local team, especially...
That is one of the funniest sites I've seen.
"2 the mugs threatening 2 report us 2 the old bill what we doin wrong? We not even a proper fighting crew yet. Nothin wrong with dressin smart"
"That dont mean 2 say we will just stand there and let someone mug us off. We wear good trainers 4 a...
When will the thickos realise that they only need guns to protect themselves against people with guns? If guns are for hunting etc why on earth would anyone want a semi automatic, unless it was to wipe out a mass of people? If a man who demonstrates such a foul temper with his wild rants on...
I don't care who we are playing, I pay to watch the Albion! I'm just as happy to pay the same price to see us hopefully score a hatfull past a non-league side as i would be to see us play Barcelona, it's all about the Albion innit?
Good on him for taking a stand. Just wonder what would happen if the same thing happened in a competitive game with his team losing, i presume AC would have to forfeit the match?
I took my GF to the Watford game last year. she was a bit baffled by two goals at each end before kick off. When the game started she was quite surprised that there wasn't a commentator! I didn't even try to explain the offside rule, throw ins and corners etc, that was far to complicated!
Fans sing when there is something to sing about! I've been going on and off since 1979 and can remember many games at the Goldstone when it was like a library. Albion can make a lot of noise when they want to, I didn't realise it was compulsory though!
Bloom wants Premiership Football, so it seems do most of the fans. It doesn't come cheap. If fans want it they have to pay for it, Uncle Tony isn't so rich that he can afford to subsidise the playing side to that extent, it has to be a viable business.
If the stadium is close to full the pricing is right, if it's only half full then it's wrong. Football is worth what people are prepared to pay. The higher the division the higher the price, if you are moaning now you'd better hope we don't get promoted because we all know that prices will rise...
Gus has never managed at the top level and has won nothing of note as a manager. No way will chelsea want him until he has, they're not gonna take a chance on an unproven manager when they are so desperate to ensure Champs league football next year.
Can't blame the Met for hating Palace, they're only human! All the other London clubs are less hassle, come to think of it even Pompey can behave better than Palace. it just seems ridiculous that in this day and age people, whoever they support, can't leave a football match in a civilised...
