I have always had Albania down as being rather depressing. Lead by a Communist leader who fell out with the Soviets and then the Chinese too so they remained a staunch Stalinist state right up until the 1980s.
I liked BeThere when I used them last year, they sent a box out to me and set it all up really fast.
Which was in MASSIVE contrast to my months of delay waiting for BT to sort anything out.
I may well have already had it.
Fell ill with flu like symptoms last month, dizzy, headache, drowsy etc. Took some aspirins for it and had a couple of days off work to coincide with the tube strike. Met a friend who'd just got back from Sweden, couple of days later he gets a fever too, unlike...
Yep I know Hither is on that line but I'd rather be round the area you mentioned, I could get Northern Line direct to Embankment and the short hop to Westminster.
Yep, I suppose Clapham to L.Bridge wouldn't be too bad, or anywhere on the Northern Line.
I wouldn't want to live round there mind...
Worth a go I suppose. It's easy for me to get to where I'll be working, seeing as it will either be Westminster or right on my doorstep(Brixton). It's just working out connections for my friend to get to the bloody edge of nowhere(Elmstead Woods).
I like it there too but I always thought it would be somewhat expensive round those parts.
I quite like the bar Project Orange round there, and I'm a big fan of Battersea so the closeness of the park is also good.
I've had many a good night in Old Street so that would always tempt me, but I think the logistics make it a bit tricky seeing as my friend has to get to Elmstead Woods station every weekday or whenever he is in Uni.
Mr Theobald doesn't listen to that kind of logic though does he?
He is too busy getting up in arms about Ovett's statue being stolen or restoring the Bandstand. I wonder if he will try and be selected again as the Tories candidate for Pavilion seeing as Dr David Bull (shit) has dropped out as PPC.
Yes I do really like Dulwich from what I've seen of it, but I assumed it wouldn't be that cheap.
Same goes for Clapham. Those were the two areas I saw a fair bit of when out and about last year which sold me on South London.
Yes I had thought about Crystal Palace myself as it has good transport links.
I would be more flexible but my friend is starting University at Ravensbourne so South is much better for him.
Yes I always thought Withdean would just be the start of a Park and Ride scheme, and like you say, it does seem to have fizzled out somewhat. I dread to think how long it would take to find a suitable Park and Ride site and then gain planning permission.
Didn't the Tories have a crazy idea of...
I'm not normally one adversed to doing these threads on NSC, but I know how many London experts we have on here.
I'm looking to find a flat to live in for September, rented obviously.. I'm not overly picky but I'm looking for reasonably priced areas which are also reasonable to live in. I think...
I went past the site on the train to Chelmsford the other day and it is coming on really well. The whole scale of the thing already looks really impressive and I can't wait.
One of the best things to happen to London for years.
It's rather fitting isn't it? Seeing as how England/the media have tried to forget 06/07 ever happened and just keep harking on about 2005, the Aussies appear intent on giving us an action replay with a new cast on their side!
How did that Park and Ride do anyway?
I remember that stand being demolished in the Summer of 1996. I looked round at it earlier that year, because back then you could get out from the Sportsman Garden, down onto the running track and head on over.
