From the Guardian's live coverage:
6.30pm: Watson had a putt to go -4 recently, but suddenly he's back to -1 after another bogey, this time at 8.
D'oh!
Come on Hunter Mahan!
Congratulations - and best of luck with regard to any further potential appeals! I know quite a few City fans having lived in Somerset for a few years, so "Better Luck Next Year Brighton" banners aside I've got quite a soft spot for you. Looking forward to playing you this season, and to coming...
I understand what you're saying, but I still think the air resistance (still assuming it's fired perfectly horizontally) can be split into two components - one horizontal, acting against its forward motion, and one vertical, acting against the gravitational force pulling it to Earth - and so it...
Why does the vacuum make a difference? Surely, on the same basis as the rest of the motion, the vertical portion of the drag is the same on both bullets?
And they have made a business decision to allow Google to place their ads, and the placement of their ads is...... Google's business! (In both senses of the words!)
Whoever's money it is, invoking "laws of the internet" is absolutely ridiculous and childish. As I say, there are no prosecutions...
Seriously, why? We're entirely free to allow porn if we want, it's just up to us to find another income source - mentioning "laws of the internet" is just ridiculous.
They're not saying "you can't post this", they're not saying "we'll sue you or prosecute you if you do this", they're simply...
How about an NSC "1901 club" or similar? It remains free for the majority, but some people can pay a premium for extra fancy add-ons. They might, for example, get priority for the Club/Players dinner at the end of the season or, if NSC makes enough, a separate night out at the Amex. Or any other...
I'd go with archiving, on a completely separate server somewhere, if only because it'd be fascinating (to some geeks, such as me) in years and years to come. But in principle, absolutely, why not?
I completely agree. It's not like it's difficult to find elsewhere on the web, and if you need to chat to Albion fans about it, join NSP.
New era, new division, new stadium, new NSC - not only with new fangled features like tagging but a family friendly place to be. Win-win :)
This is the key assumption - the bullet that is fired is fired perfectly horizontally, parallel to the ground.
Perhaps easier to visualise if you were directly behind them both - aside from looking smaller as it gets further away, it isn't moving to the left or the right, so you'll see them...
