He (Skalak) often seems to make bad decisions in open play - the wrong pass, or taking the man on instead of passing. I think when he gets this aspect of the game right he'll be first choice. His set piece delivery is not in question.
Not really getting the despondency. Yes a win would've been great, but I rate Derby on form as they are now, as one of the best sides in the league. They are considerably better than Boro at the moment, who are stuttering and struggling to score more than one goal. We were the better team by...
One of the best passes I've ever seen. Hats off to Bryson - that first half pass to Ince was sublime. It was pretty much their only moment of the first half, but a moment of pure quaility.
I thought we were superb today. Derby are a top side and we made them look average in the first half. The contrast between the quality of football in the two matches played today was massive. Burnley were poor, QPR were awful. We are better than Boro, who have been distinctly average over...
It was the first card that was daft. The second stopped a dangerous break - the first was in the Derby half, no danger whatsoever. We'll be fine though - Boro are on shakey form - we are a better side than them on current form. We will win.
Annoyed with self. I missed the boat again having set an alarm on my phone for 7.30. Went for walk with the dog at 7.15, leaving the phone at home. Got back at 7.47 having missed placing the pre-match (> 0.5) bet. I'd have gone for the City win.
It was also a very good header. It didn't get the plaudits it deserved - inch-perfect, in off the post. 3 inches to the left and Stockdale would've got a finger tip to it.
It is - but you seem to get away with it a few times, before they ban you (according to others).
An option that avoids the ban is to:
bet £50 on >0.5 goals prematch
at another bookie, pre-match, bet a few quid on the 0-0, so the return on the win will be about £50.
At this point, whatever...
